High Frequency Trading: Financial and Regulatory Implications
Madrid Finance Workshop is a joint initiative of four finance departments of Madrid based academic institutions: Universidad Carlos III, IESE Business School (University of Navarra), Instituto de Empresa, and CEMFI-Centro de Estudios Monetarios y Financieros.
The objective of the initiative is to hold a one-day research workshop on financial issues every semester. Each workshop will focus on a particular topic and will invite four prominent researchers to deliver their most recent research in the selected field and another scholar to discuss the papers.
Topics covered in previous meetings include:
Asset Management and Hedge Funds, Corporate Governance, Credit risk, and Asset Pricing.
